XLR5M 5-pin male XLR insert

This is a 5-pin XLR male insert, designed to be used in a condenser microphone.
Compatibility
This XLR5M insert should fit most common microphone chassis. The alignment ridge is in the correct location. The pins on the inside of the connector are hollow, facilitating the wiring process.
(We use these same parts in the Multitrack kit, so we know these inserts fit typical MXL microphones.)
Installation Note
Installation requires the addition of a set screw. This screw is not included. Transfer the screw from the XLR3 insert on your donor mic. It might be necessary to file or drill the plastic housing of the 5-pin insert to allow clearance for the screw head.
