We have a collection of test builds and prototypes for sale. Prices are roughly equal to the what the DIY kit cost would be. Powdercoat finishes, where included, are priced well below actual cost.
These microphones were built in order to test PCB production, or documentation, or as part of a video tutorial. These are not returns, refurbs, or used mics. None are cosmetically perfect, though.
Each of the MXL 990 mics includes a metal swivel mount and zipper pouch. If you want a shockmount, see the USM-VB.
Needless to say, we have exactly 1 of each of these mics. If you choose one from the menu, and the site shows "sold out" instead of "add to cart," it means somebody already bought that mic.
